I’m going with bobaloo here. We rescued bulldogs on the East Coast for 13 years, and had some dogs
in who weren’t trained at all. I could work at home sometimes, but house-training takes lots and lots
of attention to the pup. Crate when you can’t watch, give water only at intervals, when she drinks,
pick up puppy and take outside. You’ll sound like an ass if you have neighbors, but give the command “Go (pick a verb)!” If she does, praise like crazy, take pup inside, play for about 5 full minutes, then crate again. No peep pads, that reinforces that she can go inside. You can keep the crate where you work, and react more quickly
when you see her nosing and sniffing around.
You can do this after breakfast and dinner as well. Give her 15 -30 minutes after eating, take her outside,
and tell her to “GO (verb)!” She can’t come in until she does, and when she does, praise like crazy, yet again.
As long as that wasn’t as pompous as it seemed, should work.
