There is a figure in the novel “1984”, a man chained in an open field as I recall it.  He was a “natural man” and therefore was an enemy of the state. Pardon me if I am not telling it exactly right.  I read the book circa 1958 but this impression has remained with me.  No microchip goes in my body or the body of my beloveds.  We stand firm against the tyranny that threatens us.
