I hear ya Piff..I’m not saying the parents weren’t guilty of neglect..and are probably stupid poor people on the hustle..willing to expose their kids to someone who was an accused child molester..

My outrage and contempt comes from the American masses willingness to sweep this under the carpet…there are people who know the truth…the kids..they said he did it…he ran off with the kids for days..locked himself up in a room with the kids..exposed them to pornography..plied them with wine..

just cause he had great lawyers and lots of money to buy people off doesn’t mean he didn’t do it..We as thinking humans need to be able to draw our own conclusions…

When Waffles says things like"I don’t care if he molested kids” I am repulsed that another human can be so detached and narcissistic to have that thought.. repulsion and outrage is the proper response..

Actually the jury when polled after the trial..also thought he was a molester.. they just thought the evidence was weak..I guess the kids weren’t good witnesses…

Agreed. I’ve taken plenty of flak for loving Celine’s novels. People will still teach and read them because they are a fabulous counterpoint to everything else that was going on at the time.
