Anyone listening to her confusing, disjointed rambling 18-minute announcement yesterday could not help but notice she seemed nervous and emotional.  Could it have anything to do with these rumors?

She sounds confusing and disjointed because she is..she doesn’t need an excuse..

Have we not come to such an impasse in the modern world that we must love our enemies - or else? The chain reaction of evil - hate begetting hate, wars producing more wars - must be broken, or else we shall be plunged into the dark abyss of annihilation.

Huckabee, charming fellow, not going to get nominated.  Romney,  good business man but Christian right thinks he’s wrong. (belongs to a cult) Let’s face it, the Republicans have no shining star right now.  They really should have learned to avoid extremes.  I like Charlie Christ or even, god forbid, Jeb Bush.  Sorry I said that.

You could be right but, considering he’s from up North and a Mormon, he’s got two strikes agin him.

actually, SC was behind him for Pres for quite a while. The religious folks like him-he’s good looking, christian-ish, business oriented-i think they recognize he is a good compromise because the huckabee type doesnt have broad enough appeal. I know what you mean about the mormon thing, and he used to even be pro-choice, but the SC republicans i know glossed over allt hat shit and were behind him 100%.

I’m certainly never going to vote for any Republican I can see right now but Romney appealed to me because of the business thing. Don’t like his stance on women’s rights, not sure what his mind was about Iraq.  Mormons are cool as long as they don’t come knocking on my door.  I don’t like that religion is any part of a campaign

As far as I can tell, much of the religious right is willing to consider him christian enough.

I really like huckabee, though, but as you say, that guy aint goin’ anywhere. If Palin doesnt go down in flames from this embezzlement thing, she could still be a sweet Veep for romney in a few years.  but if the right can just wait out 8 whole years of Obama, I think they will easily re-capture the White house in 2016. In the meantime, I suspect they may be able to re-capture congress even sooner. As long as they dont all have affairs with gay argentine interns in post offices lobbies.

And we know this how? For eight years I’ve seen two different 401ks go DOWN and seems to me, correct me if I’m wrong, Bush was a Republican.

yeah, on what planet is that true, missa waffles? My mom lost a ton of her ‘retirement plan’ well before obama was elected. Not to defend Obama in any way, either. But this current economic decision can not be blamed on just one political party, and certainly not a president who has been in office for a few months.

Sorry, don’t know thirty years ago, what you refer to.  By the way, NAFTA was not Clinton’s baby.  He just finished the job Bush started. Want a link?

Following diplomatic negotiations dating back to 1991 between the three nations, the leaders met in San Antonio, Texas, on December 17, 1992, to sign NAFTA. U.S. President George H.W. Bush, Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney and Mexican President Carlos Salinas, each responsible for spearheading and promoting the agreement, ceremonially signed it.

Before the negotiations were finalized, Bill Clinton came into office in the U.S. and Kim Campbell in Canada, and before the agreement became law, Jean Chrétien had taken office in Canada.
