I went to the July 4th Shindig on the Green and had a wonderful time.  Just wondering why there was no local beer available at the event.  Just Bud and the other Bud products.  What can we do to get some local brews at the Shindig?  I mean I could just bring some Highland in my backpack.

i know, right? even most the bud was that re appropriated stuff from the sherrifs dept. Local producers need better lobbying.

My guess is corporate sponsorship or some such thing, as in the local Bud distributor has the rights to beer vending…but that’s just my guess.

My guess is Shindig doesn’t draw micro brew aficionados. Though there are a variety of people there it’s mostly not that crowd.

There’s no beer ever sold at Shindig on the Green. Saturday was an exception, since they had to coordinate it with the Ingles July 4th celebration, which of course had beer.
