Yahoo launches public beta of new, more customizable homepage

Interesting but flawed.  Some of the web sites I placed on my page which, supposedly, I would be able top preview with this new gizmo, did not respond well.  The link to this site, for example, connects me to the front page, not the forums.

Yeah, I’m not too impressed with yahoo’s changes. I’ve had my email account with them for 15 years which has made them my default homepage for aeons. But more and more they feel like AOL: irrelevant. They’re about to lose me to Google.

It took me awhile to find Yahoo groups, the only reason I use yahoo.

I’m stuck with two AT&T mail accounts, both coupled to Yahoo.  If I drop my broadband service in August, wonder if that will change.  Spammers be damned, I use Gmail for all personal correspondence with real friends.
