Bumpin’ this.

Seriously Carrie, I’m pretty familiar with that area.

You should check out this place while you’re there, for starters.

Thanks!!

Seriously boys, is there some sort of contest you all have to see how fast you can turn a thread into nonsense?  Sometimes it’s funny but sometimes, like now, I really am trying to learn something.

Sorry, I really do try to wait until the thread is already off-course before I ruin it completely.

Playa Hermosa, just a couple clicks north from Uvita is always stellar and uninhabited.

Stay the hell away from Jaco.

How far are ya’ll willing to travel for a break? Renting a car? Going by bus?

I’m willing to travel “wherever”  the trip takes us…  that sounds cheesy but I’m only there for a few weeks and want to experience everything I can.  What’s up with Jaco?  I really can’t go anywhere that they frown upon beginners…  not really knowing all the rules.

Jaco is Costa’s version of Myrtle Beach.

The water is filthy. The line-ups overflowing. The tourist t-shirts unrelenting.

But many americans insist it’s great surfing.

right.

If you’ve got a rental car, you can get up and down the pan american highway easily and hit quite a few breaks. Otherwise, the beach from Domi to Uvita should be enough to satisfy ya’ll.

Good to know!!  I don’t want to get a t-shirt anywhere!  I want practico mi espanol en Perto Rico y hablo la lengua de los personas!  (muy malo, si?)

I want to be in the little town, take surfing lessons, have a great time!  Where/when will you be there?
