Ok this is not about drag queens for all you homophobes..I’m straight if it makes you feel better..It’s about an amazing talent that transcends the genre..Cookie is a brilliant artist and we are blessed to have him here in Asheville….Saw Cookie La Rue’s show last night at La Rues back door and the gang I was hanging out with laughed so hard they snorted PBR out their nose..

We are so lucky ...It’s rare that anyone can bring the funny like Cookie..
I think there’s one more show next friday..at 10:00 ..If you really want to laugh super hard be sure and get there at 9:00..It will sell out..great cheap drinks too..

Cookie did two sets and when he had us all falling down happy with the funny..he left the stage to a standing ovation..The crowd begged ” More!! More!!”” Cookie said ” Ive given you all I’ve got”..True That..

La Rues is right behind O’ Henry’s..

I saw a poster where Cookie is doing a once a month Vaudville show at the BeBe gotta see that show..
