OK, so it’s time we caught up with the internet of four years ago and had our own animated .gif thread. First, some ground rules ...
1. Keep the file size small, no bigger than 2 or 3 megs, so that the things will actually load.
2. No image leeching. The last thing we need is for someone to leech an image from someone else’s website, for them to realize it and for us all to get an animated Goatse as a thank you. Copy the .gif and rehost it on your own Flickr or Photobucket account or whatever.
3. Nothing which is not safe for work. You can link to questionable stuff with a NWS warning, of course. But no porn links or anything.
4. Let’s aim for funny, cool, weird and original, not just emoticons from a FireFox plugin.
5. If you’re not on a high-bandwidth connection, this page will take an eon to load. Do so at your own risk.
I’ll start ...
