Is this the one you want?  Rage against the machine is originally from the industrial age in England.

How so? in what context? Your response earlier, to which i said, “Um, no”, seemed to imply the term was in the title of said chaplin movie. hence my umm, no. perhaps im wrong, but i dont think that was part of the title.  Certainly the term is used these days to describe much of the different aspects of artistic endeavors that (which?) sought to speak on the general public’s opinion of the ‘age of machines’, or whatever. But i cant say ive ever seen it apply to a specific work, or be credited to one. honestly, the only think i can think of is the band. but perhaps there is some old novel or play mat cat or shad can bring up that i dont know of…

Charlie Chaplin’s “Modern Times”: Rage against the machine

Sorry, sloppy boarding.  I didn’t mean it was part of the title.  Before i googled it, i remembered Rage against the Machine as the title,  but it’s not,  it’s the topic (theme?).  i think, like you said, it’s a general opinion about the ‘age of machines’.

I am a big proponent for doing things by hand, not machine too. I’m probably the only person who still rakes their leaves, as opposed to using a Leaf Blower! Yeah.. god forbid, you gotta do it by hand!

That might kill ya (heavy sarcasm here)

well, I would like to see the effect on the weather all this mountain top grazing is going to produce! I bet there will soon be a lack of rainfall after they grazed the mountaintops!! The trees are what attract the rain and the clouds.

You take out all the trees and soon no more rain! Not to mention the heavy erosion of towns below the mountain top. Sure hope they never decide to graze down AVL mountaintops! We’ll all be swimming inside our own houses! :(
