What happened to Mediacom?

More importantly, why does the new company mention their problems on their website?

After all, the people with no internet aren’t exactly surfing on over to find out what’s up.

I switched my phone service from them to Ooma back in July and went with my own domain servers for email, so I’m not affected by the changes from losing the mchsi.com email addresses and phone problems, but I still have internet and cable with them. I haven’t experienced any of these reported outages yet. Not that Mediacom was ever a great company, but at least I heard of them before. Who the hell is Morris Broadband? Sounds like something operated out of a van somewhere.
