Got Money?

Congress has approved a $350 million dairy bailout—on top of more than $1 billion in regular price-support and direct-payment programs.

Somehow, this makes me feel much less angry than bailing out banks.

All these bailouts are pretty much backed by Chinese loans..It’s not our money..We just print it up..It’s not really backed by anything..except a promise to give the Chinese big chunks of our land if we default..which we most certainly will default,,that’s why other countries are getting less enthusiastic about lending us money..

I say we bailout everybody.. hell I could use a quarter mil right now..we’re gonna default on our Chinese credit cards anyway..let’s go out with a a bang…

Have we not come to such an impasse in the modern world that we must love our enemies - or else? The chain reaction of evil - hate begetting hate, wars producing more wars - must be broken, or else we shall be plunged into the dark abyss of annihilation.

Not me. It’s just another hand out to big industry, and one that already receives Billions in annual government subsidies.

If anything, we should subsidize small, family owned farms. It’s these big Industrial
Agriculture assholes that are selling people crap.

#### This. #### this #### this.

That’s true, and every local dairy farm that shuts down invariably becomes the next gated community once a developer purchases it from the harried holstein homeowner.

exactly. subsidies to big agribusiness hurts small farms because it makes it virtually impossible to compete, so they then are forced to do the only thing they can to make money with their land—sell it to some golf course earth rapers.

i bet the farm in SC who i used to buy my unpasteurized milk from would love a bailout.

We REALLY need to redefine ‘farm’ into more reasonable sizes and completely gut the existing agribusinesses model. #### them all.
