That doesn’t matter ultimately, because the sun is “about” to grow larger and incinerate the earth anyway.

Sweet!  Will it be painful?

There may be a slight burning sensation. Check with your doctor.

What’s funny is that the date of 12/21/12 is not really based on anything very concrete.

The gregorian date assigned to correlate with the ongoing mayan date was made by three guys who apparently left out some fairly important data when making their conversion.

Here’s a good Dutch article (with some fairly funny translations provided by Google).

All of us failed to match our dreams of perfection. So I rate us on the basis of our splendid failure to do the impossible.

Dat is zeer aangenaam lezing van de vertaling

zodat slechts enkele verwarringen op afspraken vier.

Behalve het nu lijkt mij zijn om tot 2220 wachten op de aarde paradigma om shit. Darn!

Just saw the most ridiculous trailer of all..  Something like “Mayans Foretold It”  “Science Proved IT”....(As they are showing the end of the world)  Blah Blah Neither which is true!  It looks like a funny movie:)

Tatuaje: I think you and my husband will get along, just an observation of the words you use:)

whats even funnier to me is how the concept of the rapid advancement of mass consciousness gets translated into these ‘end of the world’ scenereos that mckenna and argueles were exactly talkign about. especially not mckenna and his ‘timewave zero” thing.

Is that what shown on the movie is real? Would it be really end of the day? Scary…

If 3 movies before 2009 is over is any indication I am going to go with 10 before 2012 :)
