A Halliburton employee was gang-raped by her co-workers and stuffed inside a crate for 24 hours in Iraq. She later finds out there is a clause in her contract saying she cannot sue for being raped, rather, she can only seek out arbitration.

Al Franken sought to pass a bill that would “deny defense contracts to companies that ask employees to sign away the right to sue”.

The only people who voted against this bill were 30 Republicans:

Alexander (R-TN)
Barrasso (R-WY)
Bond (R-MO)
Brownback (R-KS)
Bunning (R-KY)
Burr (R-NC)
Chambliss (R-GA)
Coburn (R-OK)
Cochran (R-MS)
Corker (R-TN)
Cornyn (R-TX)
Crapo (R-ID)
DeMint (R-SC)
Ensign (R-NV)
Enzi (R-WY)
Graham (R-SC)
Gregg (R-NH)
Inhofe (R-OK)
Isakson (R-GA)
Johanns (R-NE)
Kyl (R-AZ)
McCain (R-AZ)
McConnell (R-KY)
Risch (R-ID)
Roberts (R-KS)
Sessions (R-AL)
Shelby (R-AL)
Thune (R-SD)
Vitter (R-LA)
Wicker (R-MS)

How do you feel about this?

I’ve always heard you can’t sign away your right to sue…Any experts ?

I’d be OK with forcibly locking all of them together in a shipping container for 24 hours without light, food, water or a place to sleep, all off of U.S. soil and a very strong hint that they’ll be killed, and then telling them that they can’t sue or have access to due process. Seems only fair.

It would only be fair if you gang raped them first, Steve.

What did you expect??? Senator Franken is a Democrat and Republicans vote NO. They are on the way out and can only obstruct, rather than construct.
