It has been canceled!!! His site has also been suspended!!!

How is her saying it was canceled somehow implying they should have their speech limited?
She seemed entirely too excited about the cancellation of the event. And, since I am in the mood these days, I immediately wondered if she would be so excited if it were a group that she supported being ridiculed and canceling a rally or speech or, you know, book burning. I was ever so gently leading her straight into that trap when she decided to….
Oh, look, she’s back. Yea.

I didn’t think that thought through. The pastor of the church is entitled to free speech and should be able to post what he wants on his site. Many Christians just want people to be aware of this man. I should have thought the gun comment through, before posting.
Did you read his site at all? I got a chance to look at it and was not thrilled and many red flags went up.
Since you are new, I am actually not (at this time) going to wander off into my super-pedantic mode where I discuss what the pastor’s actual limits in regards to his free speech are. Plus, you actually had the courage to say you didn’t think something through. That, I think, says more about you than you know and i mean that in a really good way. There are entirely too few people in this world who will ever stop and admit they might have made a tiny mistake and will simply carry an argument out for weeks and weeks.
And no, I am not one of those people. Not because I don’t carry arguments out for weeks on end….
It is because I am never wrong. :P
