I log in this evening and everything is marked “read.”

This has been happening since the middle of August. We switched to a wireless router and from Charter to AT&T back then. Same computers, same Firefox.

let me update you: someone said something lame. four people mocked them. 2 other people mocked those four. then, a friend of the first guy came by to defend his friends honor. i believe the concept of genius was thrown around. and expert and/or professional.

then, someone made a joke, and those with a sense of humor may have laughed ot themselves, and one or two may have even posted said lol in some fashion or another.

oh, and the nun still thinks there is an audience and it cares.

Yuck, I’m pretty sure there’s a time limit for threads to show as new. Like 24 hours or something if you don’t click on it. Happens to me all the time.

Thanks Pif and Bob. So there is nothing short of reading this forum every day (which has been impossible since we moved) that will solve this? Maybe I read the forum every day in the old house, but I’m pretty sure I did not. I often suffer from episodic offspring interruptus.

That sounds about right. I think it does it after the relevant cookie file expires.
