Blue Ridge Parkway has history of body-dumping cases
STAFF REPORTS • OCTOBER 21, 2009 12:15 AM
The Blue Ridge Parkway has been tied to at least eight killings or suspected homicides since 1988, either through the discovery of remains near the scenic byway or through violence within parkway boundaries.
Murdering parkways. What’s our world coming to these days? I remember when the worst road-related criminality we had to put up with was just occasional “highway robbery.”
Police arrested a convenience store employee with stealing $150 cash from her employer.
Theresa Correll Revis, 38, of Sand Hill Road, Asheville, was charged with embezzlement. Revis embezzled $150 from Hot Spot on Brevard Road where she worked, according to the arrest warrant. She was released under $500 unsecured bond.

Also relevant because we love the Hot Spot so.
It’s always 3:00 in the morning by any given Hot Spot dumpster.
