I’m so glad the weather is warming up and we’re heading into another thriving tourist season.  I like seeing the tourist (the local baseball team by the same name is fun to watch, too) walking around town, looking befuddled, with those cute maps unfolded.

I especially enjoy helping tourists find their way and/or offering them a tip on a good eatery--just like kind locals did when I came here as tourist many years ago. The tourists add life to the city and bring in needed revenue for the shopkeepers. I, for one, just love tourist season. I hope it’s a grand season for visitors and local businesses alike.
