How can we donate to worthy causes if we don’t have the financial ability?  Below is one example of an upcoming event in Asheville where you can do just that!

Then we need YOU!

WHO: Full-service event staffing agency, EventPro Strategies and top Asheville salon, Ananda Hair Studio

WHAT: We are looking for individuals who are willing to donate 10” or more of their hair to contribute towards the creation of human-hair wigs for children. The great news: the haircut will be done by one of the top stylists in Asheville completely free of charge in exchange for the gift you will be giving to a child in need.

WHERE: Ananda Hair Studio on 22 Broadway

WHEN: Monday, June 2nd from 5:30pm – 8:30pm

WHY: To benefit Locks of Love, a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hair loss.

HOW: If you are interested in participating please send an email directly to

Remember, your hair must be at least 10” long measured tip to tip and must not be bleached. Colored or permed hair is acceptable.

If you do not have a full 10 inches and would still like to participate, shorter hair donations (minimum of 8 inches) will be accepted and donated to other organizations.
