If you were female, you’d love him too. :)
He’s an amazing Wolvie.

There’s a good chance it will.

Eh, I say it’s 50/50. It could be well done but it needs to be a long movie. There’s already talk about the cuts Snyder has to make to bring it in under 3 hours. The trailer is awesome, though that means exactly jack squat.

I wish there was an emoticon that could sum up how much credibility you just lost in that post.

Where is TomH when we need him?

He’s a great actor, and he didn’t do wrong by the character at all, but as a fan, I wanted someone more like the short, burly, vaguely ugly guy in the comics. I mean, that’s why his name is Wolverine—he’s a stunted, ferocious little bastard—and I’ve never liked the fact that the guy playing him is none of that, even though he does well for being a handsome, 6-foot-2 yoga practitioner.

For a while, when the first film was still in preproduction, they were hinting that Gary Sinise or Russell Crowe were going to take the role. (I think Crowe bailed out to do Gladiator.) It’s a shame we didn’t get one of them—no insult to Jackman, mind you. From what I remember, Jackman was the dead-last guy on the list and was called in at the last minute to replace the next-to-last guy on the list, who had gotten injured in one of the Mission: Impossible flicks.
