Sorry, Ralph, but what is more sad than ‘silly’ is the fact that fanny packs made of a renewable resource, by unionized labor in the USA doesn’t exist.

Zen, what is even sadder and sillier is that anyone would worry about it in the first place.

i’m no fan of fanny packs, but it seems to me that the rest, made in america by reasonably paid workers of a renewable source, is kinda important.

i suppose i’m being elitist.  Perhaps i should suggest that the Republican National Convention should offer sampler packs of Cialis.

Let me see. Gas is zooming toward $5 a gallon, mortgage foreclosure rates are up, we’re fighting wars in Iraq and Afghanistan (and probably soon in Iran), illegal immigrants stream over our open borders, the Midwest is being washed away, New Orleans still has not recovered, and a thousand other problems both serious and soon to be serious demand the urgent attention of our leaders…

and the stupid Democrats are worrying about friggin’ FANNY PACKS?

c’mon!

We’re not talking about the national party conventions anymore Ralph?  Nice freaking switch and bait, thanks.  I wonder how many Republicans are driving hybrids to their convention?

Not being a Republican, I would not know. Hybrids are not the answer either.

But, also, compared to that, the moronic Democrats micromanaging fanny packs is not it either.

I suspect the Democrats will blow it on the presidential election as usual and the Republicans will stay in.

And that’s not the answer either.

I don’t know the answer.

I just know fanny packs has nothing whatsoever to do with it.

ah… you took that well, Zen… fanny packs really are immaterial and the Democrats worry far too much about crap like that.

Republicans have their own shortcomings but fanny packs ain’t one of them. ;-)

I think their shortcomings have something to do with being soulless fellaters of Satan’s penis.

Whats it like to be a silly, old, characature of a grumpy old man?

And how is the issue of our manufacturing base being sent overseas, therby crippling our economy, not a current, relevant issue?  That is, after all, the real point.

But if you want to obsess over the specifics, yes the democrats are silly. I think all politicians should be sent to work in sweatshops in China for a decade before they are allowed to come home and make laws.

atruth… here’s a challenge for you…

and you may use the Internet in this test:

find a source of American UNION-made fanny packs.

I doubt you will (reality being reality and unions having priced themselves out of manufacturing small items like that) but if you DO, immediately notify the folks putting on the Democratic national convention. They will, perhaps, award you with some pins or bumper stickers or a small plush donkey—all made in China, of course.
