So, I’ve heard of at least one “Bobby Medford is Busted” party happening in the next few days. And one of our blog posters (JBo) noted that Rosetta’s Kitchen named a special in honor of the former Buncombe County Sheriff’s arrest: The Medford Meltdown. To some, Bobby Medford was the worst kind of elected official. To me however, Bobby Medford was a man who taught me a little about slipping Xanax into a meat loaf to give it a nice mint flavor, and a lot about love.

I think it’s rather awesome that Medford wasn’t released because he’s viewed as a threat to witnesses. I mean, that’s the guy who was supposed to be protecting and serving, but he can’t even be trusted not to hunt down and kill people? Seriously weird.

and hey, can we keep searching his jail cell to make sure his lawyer or guard-buddies aren’t slipping him a cell phone to do his dirty business with?
