Somewhere a bridge needs to be built so people can cross a river to feed themselves.

Why yes I have a blog. What? You want to see my underwear? That’s over the line, sir.

You don’t have to have a google-nose to sniff out occasional surreality, that’s for sure.

Somewhere, a community-theater group is thinking about putting on a production of “Waiting for Godot.” Which is the greater crime?

The greater crime is that I’m allowed to look this good in public.

Anyone have thoughts on the RiverSculpture Festival moving from the French Broad River Park to Reynold’s Mountain (with homes starting at 400k!)?

Yeah, i think it’s a shame, but Arlene and Robert worked hard just to get 2 River Sculpture Festivals thru the Asheville Parks system and i don’t blame them for looking for a different venue.  It’s just that the space of the French Broad park was perfectly suited for this kind of thing along with a lot of traffic for viewing - especially by us common people.

So, overall i’m glad it’s still going on but sad it didn’t happen here in WAsheville.

It’s weird. It seems like the city and the Winklers could have made this happen. It was one of the few reasons (other than taking my dog to the Dog Park) to ever go to that place.

Somebody’s got an opinion about it…

art removed and screwed

Today at the French Broad River Park i saw that the most of park’s cement slabs were tagged with "Art Removed" and ‘Art Removed For Your Protection.’ These slabs were where for the last two years the Winklers had worked hard despite the Asheville Cultural Art and Parks people to get the French Broad River Sculpture Festival up and running.

I have a bunch of photos of them if the MX is interested

I’m going to try to get to Woodfin to get shots of the sculptures.  It’s just what i do, i can’t help myself.  Just like Jason Bugg can’t help being handsome, yaknow?

It still is a crime for me to look this good.

Now I guess Bugg is a STATUTE since he has prohibited himself from posting here.

My only question, what kind of pigeon lands on a statute?

You mean he’s a law unto himself?
