Today’s winter strategy for kitchen garden/greenhouse:

Sit in the beach chair in the greenhouse, soaking up the rays, alongside the lettuce, arugula and kale — and pick out which seeds to order from my Fedco catalog. Made for a fine Sunday afternoon’s work in January.

All of us failed to match our dreams of perfection. So I rate us on the basis of our splendid failure to do the impossible.

Than gardening in the winter? Not really, you just have to work at it.
