Everyone, please be careful to argue the argument, not devolve into personal attacks.

Ralph, it would be super if you could post a link to these statistics that you have found, in order to further this discussion.

Thank you.

I know, I know, your still having trouble accepting the 14th amendment and its ramifications for your worldview. Theres a support group for folks like you.  http://www.highbeam.com/doc/1G1-59948894.html

Whatever is “wrong” or “right” with Ralph, I don’t think he has any problem with the 14th amendment.

But since you dont really know a lot of people who voted for Obama, much less have deep, understanding conversations with them about their political ideals, you really wouldnt know much about what Obama voters “expect” would you?

You guys just want Obama to be Clinton/Carter so bad, you dont really notice what regular people think.

I’m not worried about what regular people think, it’s what Obama thinks that bothers a lot of us.

And how do “a lot of us” know what Obama thinks?

I mean, other than that white people should all be sent to mexico so that new amerika can paint the white house black and socialize the postal system.

What are “regular” people? Are those the people who are part of the “real America” that Palin and McCain kept referring to during the campaign?

i present this without comment

republican states(based on the 2008 election results) known to have the following

by far the greatest number of executions
highest number of Klan members
highest pct of adults over 25 that didn’t finish high school(correlates with lowest literacy rates)
greatest number of states without laws making bestiality illegal

Are their real numbers out there saying what Klan memberships are? I mean, it’s not exactly something someone advertises so the numbers might be dubious at best. You’re either relying on Morris Dees at the SPLC or the Klan themselves and I’m willing to believe that both of them inflate the numbers for their own reasons.

I added the ADL ... they gather info on groups of this type and where they are most active and if they are said to be operating in more than one state ...

LA,TX,OK,MS,AL,GA,SC,KY repeatedly come up for multiple news stories in such a great percentage that I went with it ... maybe I missed the Maine fellowship who knows ....

Okay, those “Stats” should be grounded on real information.

First the information is floating around the internet and via emails starts out with

“Some unreported stats about the 2008 election” and goes on to include Professor Joseph Olson from Hemline University, Law School of MN.

First, there was a similiar email and from 2000 that was supposed to be giving information regarding the Bush and Gore election. That information was trumped up and also misleading.

Second, Professor Joseph Olson from the HAMLINE University is NOT tied to this information at all. He has been trying to kill this whole Bogus affliation since this started in 2000.
Now another tweeked email and Internet mis-use he is trying to AGAIN state that he as no affiliation to this email. Further checking I found that a Sherrif was sent this email back in 2000 and sent it to Joseph Olson, but the Sheriff had no information as to where that information came from, or remember who sent it to him.
http://law.hamline.edu/node/784

Newsweek link on that email is also misleading. The “Stats” are not real, but replicated and tweeked again and this started in 2000. Not real facts or Stats. Sorry folks.

So, the “Stats” that are posted are not real information, and no one should have to argue them.

If you want to argue a point, please do so without using misleading information. We have enough fear, we don’t need bogus information creating more.
