A visitor to Carl Mumpower’s office told me that he has a series of pairs of shoes, neatly lined up next to each other, perfectly arranged by increasing gradation of hue.

To me, that doesn’t say fashionable as much as OCD.

Apparently, the man just needs some shoe control.

I always suspected that he was secretly collecting soles.

I’ve added a poll, because the thread seems to have played itself out, but I’m still not completely satisfied with it. Please vote, if you have the time.

honestly I do not have an answer for this.
i would really have to consider who is a local celeb..because there are not many.
anyone who wears clothing that they feel comfortable in is fashionable in their own way.
wearing retro t-shirts, converse tennis shoes and studded belts does not make you a fashion icon.
hula hoops are an accessory that can be quite nice...if you have an imagination.
herding everyone into a ‘set’ fashion sense is very scary.
telling people what is right or wrong to wear is a touchy subject...you had better be the best dressed person in town yourself.
