Welcome

On behalf of our board of directors, welcome to the 2004 Mountain Sports Festival presented by RBC Centura! This year, for the first time, we are partnering with the Asheville Parks and Recreation Department to bring you a festival that's bigger and better than ever.

Check out this official MSF guide and you'll see that the festival truly has something for everyone. Compete in one of the many events designed to challenge both weekend warriors and take-no-prisoners athletes, from paddling, running and biking to disc golf and adventure racing. Watch your children test their skills in the Bike Rodeo or the Iron Kid Challenge, which includes the wall climb, soccer kick, long jump, basketball shoot, the batting cage and other fun contests. Enjoy our great lineup of free, live music at the Festival Village in downtown Asheville's City/County Plaza. Munch on tasty food and sip your favorite beverage while you take in the many interesting exhibits and demonstrations.

Additional information about the festival can be found on our Web site (www.mountainsportsfestival.com).

What better way to enjoy the Asheville area in springtime than by experiencing the 2004 Mountain Sports Festival? Join us, bring your family and friends, and have a great time!

Chairman, Mountain Sports Festival Board of Directors
