Blue Ridge Biofuels is a worker-owned business that produces clean burning biofuels for Asheville and Western North Carolina.

All diesel engines—whether in on road vehicles, off road equipment, or home heating furnaces—can burn biodiesel with no modifications or retrofitting required. We provide blends of biodiesel mixed with petroleum diesel that range from 5% biodiesel to 99.999% biodiesel.

We sell on-road biodiesel at several filling stations in the Asheville area. We are installing new pumps at area stations on a regular basis. Check our website for the station nearest you.

We also provide on-road bulk biodiesel sales to fleets and local businesses.

Blue Ridge Biofuels sells off road biodiesel to area farms and to construction and landscaping businesses.

We also provide BioHeat – a form of home heating oil that is 20% biodiesel and 80% petroleum diesel. BioHeat is completely compatible with home oil furnaces that run on #2 diesel (also called heating oil). No special equipment is necessary to burn BioHeat in an oil furnace.

All of the biodiesel made in our local production facility is made from waste vegetable oil from restaurants in the Asheville area. If you own or work for a restaurant and want to contribute to providing alternative fuels in WNC by having our oil collection team service your restaurant, please contact us. We turn waste oil into wonderful fuel!

Blue Ridge Biofuels believes that offering biofuels education is a critical component to the success of alternative energies and we are committed to helping improve public awareness of biofuel options both locally and throughout the region.

If you are interested in running a biodiesel vehicle, burning biodiesel in your home furnace or off-road equipment, or just want more information on clean, local, renewable energy, give us a call or visit our website!
