  FR (5/24) through SU (5/26) - The Americana Burlesque and Sideshow Festival will feature a Saturday night spectacular, "wild west space opera," burlesque and circus workshops and a cabaret brunch. • 05/26: White Squirrel Festival

  FR (5/24) through SU (5/26) - The White Squirrel Festival will feature street vendors, crafts, activities for kids, a Squirrel Box Derby and music by Sol Driven Train, Jupiter Coyote, Acoustic Syndicate, The Packway Handle Band and others. • 09/28: The Little Flea

  SATURDAYS, 3-7pm - The Little Flea will feature produce and "hand-selected fare and wares" behind Grace Baptist Church, 718 Haywood Road. Free to attend. Info: littleflea.org.

• 05/25: Ooh La La Curiosity Market

  SA (5/25), 10am-4pm - This market will include local art, jewelry, music and a raffle to benefit Animal Haven, a no-kill shelter located in Asheville. Held in Pritchard Park. Info: avl.mx/fr.

• 05/25: Pisgah High School Craft Show

  SA (5/25), 8am-5pm - Pisgah High School, 1 Black Bear Drive, Canton, will host a craft fair to raise funds for cafeteria renovations. Prices vary. Info: 646-3440.

• 05/27: Spring Arts and Crafts Festival

  SA (5/25) through MO (5/27), 10am-5pm - Hickory Nut Gorge Outreach will host an arts and crafts festival featuring food, entertainment and more than 75 exhibitors at the Lake Lure Arcade. • 05/25: Memorial Day Cemetery Tour

• 05/27: Cookie Night

  MO (5/27) - 7-8:30pm - Cookie Night: Help bake cookies for families staying at the Lewis Rathbun Center, which provides free lodging for out-of-town families who have a loved one in an area hospital. Supplies provided.
