• 10/13: Outward Hounds

  WEDNESDAYS, SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS, 10am-1pm - Outward Hounds invites the public to take adoptable dogs on local hikes. Meets at BWAR, 31 Glendale Ave. Free.

• 07/22: Free Spay Vouchers

• 05/22: Bird Language

  WE (5/22), 6-8pm - An introduction to bird language will focus on interpreting songs, calls and behaviors. $10-$20.

• 05/26: Dog Agility Trials

  FR (5/24) through SU (5/26), 8am-3pm - The Blue Ridge Agility Club of WNC will host dog agility trials at the WNC Agricultural Center's McGough Arena, 1301 Fanning Bridge Road. Free. Please leave family pets at home. Info: blueridgeagility.com or 713-3278.

• 07/27: Community Partnership for Pets

  1st & 3rd SATURDAYS, noon-3pm - Community Partnership for Pets will sell low-cost spay/neuter vouchers the Blue Ridge Mall, 4 Seasons Blvd., Hendersonville.   WE (5/29), 6-8pm - A bird feeder workshop will focus on constructing a bird feeder and learning the calls of native birds. Call for cost.
