Since the Dirty Bourbon formed in 2009, the full-time touring band members have kept busy. In four years, they have released seven albums and played more than 500 shows across the U.S. Their newest album, Volume Four, includes complex, syncopated lyrics written by lead vocalist Noah Adams, whose voice is complemented by harmonies, beats, and horns. The band puts a variety of peculiar instruments to use in their new album, ranging from the organ and the accordion to the trombone and the sousaphone.
“[Dirty Bourbon River Show is] a circus-like barrage of sound serving as entrance music for a magical mystery tour of whiskey-soaked French Quarter back alleys,” said Rory Callais of New Orleans’ Offbeat Magazine.
