New Moffitt parody website sprouts up

Last month Rep. Tim Moffitt launched a new website, www.nc116.com, that touts the benefits of legislation he’s authored or co-sponsored.

Now, a parody of that site has sprouted up: iamnc116.com Here’s how the “About” section of the site describes it:

This is my token of open communication to the people of the 116th district, who have given me carte blanche to redesign the entire western North Carolina landscape according to my vision, my priorities, and my interests (as well as those of my corporate investors). I don’t know if it’s because they are too stupid to keep up, or too busy looking for work to care or just blinded by the bullshit my Party keeps shoveling out, but whatever the case, I love, love, LOVE this job. I might even be President one day. Fuck yeah. President Toffitt.

The freshman Republican legislator is facing a challenge this year from Democrat Jane Whilden to represent District 116, which covers much of the western and southern parts of Buncombe County.
